Bexar County Commissioners and Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai approved more than $3.9 Million to fund the Bexar County Domestic Violence Intervention Program.
SAN ANTONIO -
“Motion carries, get this program up and running,” said Judge Sakai after a unanimous vote to fund the Bexar County Domestic Violence Intervention Program. “Unfortunately, children and families get hurt in this and that’s why we need to look at it from a public health, we need to look at it that we have to make an investment so that we can get upstream on this situation,” said Judge Sakai.
Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai said the money is worth it if it’s optimized to help as many victims as possible.
