Design Director Robin Page has strong ideas about how technology will influence future Bentley models.
The next generation of vehicle design is here. The digitization of these vehicles allows for a level of customization that will give automakers the opportunity to truly tailor their buyers' experiences in ways that were only dreams a decade ago.Robin Page, Bentley's director of design, told Newsweek that while traditional methods of exterior and interior design have always led the way, technology-focused user experience is rising to be just as important.
we can predict their kind of routine and almost get ahead of them in a sense of we know where they're going and what they want, and the climate and everything. Can put that all together as a holistic experience for them, so sound, light, temperature,' he said.As important as his vision of the future is, Page is cognizant of the role heritage plays in the Bentley lineup. The company recently redesigned its iconic headlight design, a move that has been mostly praised by enthusiasts.
