The actor joined a Comics for Kamala fundraising livestream Monday.
Ben Stiller attends the 24th Annual Mark Twain Prize For American Humor at The Kennedy Center on March 19, 2023 in Washington, DC. , titled Comics for Kamala, brought together comedians to raise money for the Harris campaign. Also participating were Nick Offerman, Whoopi Goldberg and Patton Oswalt, among others.
Stiller during his appearance vowed to donate $150,000 to the campaign. He also shared his excitement about the upcoming election and lauded Harris for her “historic” candidacy. “She's also a historic candidate,” Stiller said. “It's going to be the first woman president and that's incredibly exciting. She's Indian, she's Black, she's everything. You can be more than one thing, it's incredible.”You know, I'm Jewish and Irish,” Stiller said. “I wish I was Black. Every White Jewish guy wishes he was Black. You know, get out there and vote and donate and take advantage.
