'Silent Trade' explores the story of a young woman trafficked to Belfast
One of Northern Ireland's leading independent theatre companies is preparing to stage an explorative new play about modern slavery and human trafficking.
After three years of discussions on staging a piece on this issue, the new production will perform at the Lyric Theatre from February 22-26 and in venues across the country from February 28 to March 5.It is described as "a deftly crafted and exposing new production unveiling the alarming rates of human trafficking and domestic servitude reported in the north".
