St. Francis wrestler Bryce Luna is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Feb. 6-11 after he had received 34.75% of the vote at the 5 p.m. deadline Wednesday.
Los Gatos wrestler Antonio Rodriguez finished second and James Logan soccer player Taj Gil took third.Luna, a junior, defeated Los Gatos freshman Joseph Pavlov-Ramirez 3-1 in the first-place match at the Central Coast Section Northern Regional meet at Fremont-Sunnyvale. Luna is ranked fourth in the state by the California Wrestler.by Monday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. Please include stats and team results.
