Mason Dorsey led Crespi to a shocking win against the No. 1-seeded team in the Division 2AA playoffs Tuesday night.
Although Dorsey called Tuesday’s game the most intense of the season, he acknowledged the competition level of the Mission League helped them prevail. The Mission League includes two Open Division teams in Harvard-Westlake and Notre Dame Sherman Oaks.
“Mission League is the best league,” Dorsey said. “I think we’re the best league after Trinity League. I like it. It helps us a lot.”The Trailblazers used a 14-0 run late in the fourth quarter after trailing 50-44 to edge the Monarchs. Amari Bailey had 16 points. Bronny James and Shy Odom each had 10 points.
