BART is offering special, early morning service next Sunday to help folks make their way to one of the longest-running foot races in the world – San Francisco’s Bay to Breakers.
BART is offering special, early morning service next Sunday to help folks make their way to one of the longest-running, quirkiest foot races in the world – San Francisco’s Bay to Breakers.
The four trains will leave from Millbrae, Daly City and 16th Street-Mission on the Peninsula, as well as Pleasant Hill, MacArthur, West Oakland, El Cerrito del Norte, Bay Fair, and Dublin stations in the East Bay. Those are the only stations open for early service. All trains will arrive at Embarcadero station around 7 a.m., an hour before the 8 a.m. race time. Trains will not travel past Embarcadero and will go out of service after dropping off runners. Specific station times can be found onSunday’s race will mark the 111th year since the first Bay to Breakers race, an annual fun run and community celebration.
