The Banshees Of Inisherin producer James Flynn dies aged 57 as tributes pour in
One of the multi-talented producers of nine-time Oscar nominated movie The Banshees of Inisherin has sadly passed away.
His colleague, producer Ed Guiney, who worked with James on 1998's Sweety Barrett, has paid a touching tribute since learning of his pal's death. As well as his nine-time Oscar nominated hit, James' recent credits also include Sir Ridley Scott's The Last Duel, the Disenchanted sequel and Greta starring Isabelle Hupper.
Just five years later, he launched Octagon Films, with credits including Neil Jordan’s Ondine and Irish comedy Rory O’Shea Was Here, starring James McAvoy and Steven Robertson. Colin also received nominations for Critics Choice, Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe awards for his role alongside long-time pal Brendan Gleeson.
