Chloe Dockendorff started her professional career with a ballet company in the U.S.

P.E.I.'s Chloe Dockendorff has taken her skills abroad where she has been performing with the Virginia National Ballet company.Ballet has never been a doubt in Chloe Dockendorff’s mind since she was three years old.

“A lot of people were being laid off because the performing art industry was obviously not continuing through the pandemic. “I love to story tell and I think ballet is one of the most beautiful methods of storytelling. It’s using your body and performing that way for audiences,” she said. “I was surrounded by other dancers who were really serious about ballet and who wanted to do that as a career. That was also a huge sort of inspiration for me because I can see all people who are on the same path that I want to beyond,” Chloe said.
