A southern Alberta man was arrested Saturday for robbing a nine\u002Dyear\u002Dold child while displaying an axe, Coaldale RCMP said Monday.
The arrest occurred after RCMP received a report of a male with an axe who was displaying the weapon while stealing food from a child in Coalhurst, Alta. He’s also accused of failing to comply with conditions relating to a previous conviction for a similar robbery in Lethbridge. Dagger was held by Coaldale RCMP for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody. He will appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court on March 15.
