Preliminary details, according to deputies with the, is that gunfire was exchanged between armored truck drivers and possible suspects trying to rob the bank.
During a press conference with HCSO and the FBI, officials learned three men got out of a black Mercedes and began shooting at one of the couriers. A brief gun battle ensued between the armored truck drivers and one of the couriers. Shortly after the gunfire, the suspected robbers tried to drive away, but the Brinks truck blocked their way and ran off instead.
Several shell casings were found at the scene, so officials called it a "dangerous" and "violent" scene, but no injuries were reported, and it's unclear if the suspects got away with any money.
