Wind blowing off the Hudson River means temperature at New York’s Hudson Yards can feel a few degrees cooler
Hudson Yards, the massive new development in Midtown Manhattan, has luxury shopping, fine dining and art exhibits. It is also one of the chilliest spots in New York City.

The new skyscrapers can also create wind tunnels, allowing strong breezes to bounce off their facades and gain strength.
