A jury is set to hear closing arguments in Johnny Depp’s high-profile libel lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard.

Depp sued his ex-wife Amber Heard for libel in Fairfax County Circuit Court after she wrote an op-ed piece in The Washington Post in 2018 referring to herself as a"public figure representing domestic abuse." Each side will have two hours to summarize their case in a trial that has stretched on for six weeks.
Depp says he never struck Heard and that she concocted the abuse allegations to gain an advantage in divorce proceedings.
