The Astros-Phillies game at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday at Minute Maid Park will be carried both on AT&T SportsNet Southwest, the team's local cable carrier, and on TBS, which will air the game nationally as well as in the Houston and Philadelphia markets alongside the regional broadcasts. Generally when Astros games are picked up for national TV, those are exclusives to national rights holders and the local carriers will not broadcast the game. That happened this season when Astros games aired on ESPN, Fox, Apple TV+, Peacock Premium and YouTube TV. The exceptions were four games that aired nationally on FS1 and also on AT&T Southwest.
Astros telecasts on AT&T SportsNet Southwest will end with Wednesday's regular-season finale. TBS will air the American League Division Series and Championship Series this year, so Tuesday's broadcast will provide a preview of what Astros fans can expect production-wise during the postseason.
