ASCAP has revealed the winners of its 2020 Pop Music Awards.
remarked, “This moment... offers an opportunity for all of us to come together and take action to create a lasting, much-needed transformation in how we treat each other. We believe your music will meet the moment as it has so many times in our nation’s troubled history — by lifting our spirits, giving us hope and inspiring change.”
In addition to remote acceptance speeches from the winners, on June 17 and 18 ASCAP will unveil surprise videos and photos from writers of the most performed songs honorees on its Twitter and Instagram accounts using the hashtag #ASCAPAwards.
