Jacksonville FL — On Monday, Jacksonville Sheriff TK Waters announced the arrest of a man in connection with the. Sheriff Waters says Marcel Johnson is charged with second-degree murder, four counts of attempted second-degree murder, and one count of shooting or throwing deadly missiles.

Back on December 3rd, 2022, JSO says Holland was with a group of people leaving a football tryout at the Legends Center when the SUV they were in was shot multiple times on West Moncrief and New Kings roads.This is a developing story, we’ll bring you the latest updates throughout the day Monday. Sheriff T.K. Waters was joined today by members of JSO’s Homicide Team 6 to announce the arrest of Marcel Johnson for the December 3, 2022 murder of 13-year-old Prince Holland. Suspect Johnson was also charged with four counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Shooting or Throwing Deadly Missiles. This case continues to be an active and ongoing investigation in which we know others are involved.
