One person was arrested following an assault incident that occurred on Queen Street West on Saturday evening.
Police say the accused, 24-year-old Devon Reed, threatened the victim with a knife during a verbal argument. .On March 4, 2023, officers in Patrol Services charged 24-year-old Devon Reed with assault with a weapon. Around 6 p.m., the victim was walking in the 400 block of Queen Street West. The accused was in the area and a verbal argument ensued. During the argument, [it is alleged that] the accused pulled out a knife and threatened the victim. The victim was able to get into their residence and did not sustain physical injuries. The victim and accused are known to each other.
