Army Secretary expects briefing on possible TikTok vulnerabilities year-end, as US keeps pressure on China tech
TikTok, which has about 750 million users, has been under scrutiny by the intelligence community and military because of its ties to China.
The Army stopped allowing soldiers to use TikTok "immediately" when a possible national security issue was brought to the attention of Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy earlier this year, he told CNBC on Tuesday.
