SEATTLE — Seattle police arrested two people in connection to an armed carjacking in Seattle on Friday, according to the Seattle Police Department.When the driver got out of their car to see if the man needed help, the man pulled a gun on the driver and robbed them.The man got into his own car and followed the stolen car.
After Seattle police responded to the incident and started their investigation, officers gave the carjacked driver a ride home.The officer called for backup, but before it could arrive, the suspect’s car drove away.Another officer saw the suspect’s car driving on 35th Avenue Southwest, where he followed the car and watched as a man and a woman were dropped off.
The car got away. However, detectives managed to interview the couple, and the woman was subsequently booked into jail.The driver of the suspect’s car was identified as the second suspect in the carjacking and Seattle police are investigating further.
