Arlington police have arrested one person in connection to a deadly shooting at a gas station Sunday night.

Officers spotted the victim just after 8 p.m. Sunday at a store south of Interstate 20 near Highway 287. Investigators say that the 17-year-old victim and 18-year-old Taymour Makarem got into a verbal fight at the gas station.Makarem then pulled out a gun and fired multiple times at the victim's car, according to police.Three other people were inside the car with the victim at the time. None of them were injured.
Makarem was identified as the suspect by police and was arrested nearby at the intersection of Treepoint Drive and Paces Trail.
