Temperatures in the Valley will remain above normal on Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.
The high is expected to reach around 110°F, slightly warmer than Tuesday's high in Phoenix .Much like Tuesday, there will be a slim chance for monsoon storms in the Valley."Outlook for Today: Temperatures will continue to run several degrees above normal. Shower and thunderstorm chances are expected to remain primarily across higher terrain areas, with low chances showers and thunderstorms develop across the lower deserts," NWS Phoenix wrote on X.
Hydrate: Take a cooler to keep extra drinking water cold, and consider adding several frozen bottles of water to use for cooling off or to thaw and drink if needed. Make sure everyone, including pets, stays hydrated.Get help: If your vehicle breaks down in extreme heat, call for assistance right away to reduce wait time, and run the AC. If the AC isn’t working, roll down all windows.
