, Ariana announced the alleged cancellation in an email sent to fans planning to attend the Antwerp, Belgium meet and greet scheduled for Friday, August 30.
In a screenshot of the reported email, Ariana said she planned to "preserve energy for the show," and because her "anxiety and depression have been at an all time high lately," she needed to cancel Friday's meet and greet, and the accompanying soundcheck party. "I don't want to rush through our time together or seem shaky," she reportedly wrote. "I like spending actual time with you and I won't be able to be present or give you the best of me today.
Despite the reported cancellation of the pre-show activities, Ariana did go on to perform on Friday as scheduled. Fans have been tweeting their well wishes for the performer,, "forever proud and inspired by ariana for pushing through her anxiety to do what she loves and make us happy," and "
