The Eagles made their decision on if they were going to elevate any players from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders.
Jones, who was signed to the Eagles practice squad Oct. 21, played in last Sunday night’s win against the Miami Dolphins, lining up for 16 snaps and getting a catch for three yards. Jones found himself mostly aligned on the outside, allowing him to use his size to not only run routes, mainly toward the inside part of the field, or help block on run plays.as a slot option, with Zaccheaus seeing one target on 41 snaps against the Dolphins.
The Eagles have one more elevation to use on Jones. After that, the team will need to make a move to add him to the active roster, one of the tough decisions upcoming for the Eagles.
