movies — newly christened the “Age of Resistance” era — is a story filled with ghosts, both figuratively and literally. But does the fact that it’s been established that ghosts exist in theStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalkerfeature narration from characters who have died in earlier installments of the series, underscoring the importance of ghosts in the franchise as we head towards the home stretch.
The thing is, Palpatine being back shouldn’t really be a surprise.
