EPL returns after international break with questions about Manchester United\u0027s dysfunction centred around Anthony, Sancho and Maguire
There’s no match more intriguing this week than Manchester United hosting Brighton in this weekend’sAfter spending years in the wilderness following Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure, it looked like the club had finally found solid footing under new manager Erik ten Hag. In his first season, he got the team to the FA Cup final and got them back into the top four and a cherished Champions League spot.
Thursday saw winger Jadon Sancho banished to train on his own, away from the team for disciplinary reasons. Sancho arrived two seasons ago for $122 million from Borussia Dortmund. Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool were all chasing him, but United got the deal over the line for a player many considered to be on the same level as Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham.Article content
Sancho fired back on social media, saying to not believe everything you read and that he had done nothing wrong. The post has since been deleted, but now players are back and Sancho has been exiled.
