Apple says it’s trying to keep people from overusing its products — it doesn’t seem to be working, according to this chart

The internet turned 50 this week... and here's what it's given us:

Apple released its long-awaited suite of Screen Time tools last year as part of a broader push in Silicon Valley to address growing concerns about how personal devices are engineered to be addictive.

But what’s perhaps even more telling is how those numbers have changed in just one year. The Visual Capitalist blog put that chart side-by-side with last year’s version to give a greater sense of where the internet is headed:
