Trump on Sunday launched a series of tweets criticizing members of the Democratic Party and defending himself against impeachment allegations.
"In my first 11 months I've cosponsored 339 pieces of legislation, authored 15, took on Big Pharma w/ my colleagues in hearings that brought PreP generic a year early & exposed abuse of power," the 30-year-old freshman Democrat tweeted."In 4 years, you've jailed kids & made corruption the cause celebré. Try to keep up."
"Witch Hunt!" Trump added in another tweet, alongside a post by GOP Congressman Steve Scalise calling for Democrats to"end this impeachment charade." In the clip, Ocasio-Cortez, who has previously described herself as a democratic socialist, can be heard saying:"This is about preventing a potentially disastrous outcome from occurring next year."
