The road already has some speed bumps, but dangerous driving remains a worry for members of the community.
officers are considering measures for a stretch of road in Paisley in response to concerns about speeding drivers.
Renfrewshire Council’s roads team is now investigating the nature of improvements required for the area.It has confirmed it will look to introduce any changes once it has canvassed local opinion on the matter. He said: “There has been a significant number of complaints since we have come out of the pandemic about speeding in this particular area.“There are often problems with irresponsible drivers going along the road late at night, which needed to be addressed.
“It shows that we are listening to people who are worried about this type of behaviour in their community.The council said that there had been no accidents on this section of road in the last five years.
