No industry is immune to the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past two months, the fashion world has reacted to the spread of the virus and its global shutdowns with creativity, community, and ingenuity. Businesses are donating to COVID-19 causes, and designers are repurposing to produce personal protective equipment for hospitals and fabric masks for civilians.
“We are all united in facing the same questions and challenges,” says Anna Wintour, editor in chief ofU.S. and U.S. artistic director and global content advisor of Condé Nast. “These conversations are a chance for us to come together, connect, and remind ourselves that we are a global community.
