A man was killed in an early morning shooting Saturday, leading to an arrest and murder charges connected to the homicide investigation.

The Anchorage Police Department said officers responded to the 7300 block of Huntsmen Circle, east of C Street and near Taku Lake, around 2:30 a.m. Saturday to reports of a shooting. The victim was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper body and later died there, police said in anThe suspect, 24-year-old Dylan Moss, knew the victim and shot him in the home, police said. Moss then called 911 and cooperated with police during their investigation, which included questioning at the department.
Police said Moss is being charged with second-degree murder and fourth-degree misconduct involving a weapon.Police said they’ve contacted “everyone involved” and do not believe there are any others at large.
