The founder of St. Tropez self-tanning products is listing her Italianate mansion in Calabasas for nearly $30 million
When Robin Gibson was building her Italianate mansion in California in the early 2000s, she traveled to Lake Como in Italy to see firsthand the palazzos that inspired her architect’s design. “It was a little scavenger hunt,” said Ms.
Gibson, who spent about six years and roughly $18 million building the ornate home, which has groin-vault ceilings and a grand staircase with hand-forged railings.self-tanning products. The house, which also has a retractable glass roof and a life-size chess set, is now listing for $29.995 million.
