Here's what Halloween revellers in Burnaby can expect weather wise for Tuesday night, Oct. 31.

It appears Mother Nature may be forgiving this year in providing Burnaby trick-or-treaters with a crisp fall evening on Tuesday, Oct. 31.Temperatures are expected to drop to between 5°C and 10°C starting at 6 p.m. when the sun sets, about the time when local residents can expect neighbours to start knocking on doors in search of candy.

An extra layer of clothing is likely recommended, as well as something reflective or "lighter-coloured," per ICBC in hopes of reducing potential incidents when walking near the road."Add reflective tape to their outfit and treat bag, and have them to use a flashlight or headlamp to help them stand out in the dark."There will also be some very light gusts of wind for Halloween at 5 km/h changing from north to southwest.

The rain is expected to arrive by the later hours of Wednesday, Nov. 1, at a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight into Thursday morning, Nov. 2.
