Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman shot an episode of NBC’s Making It on a farm set near Malibu.
The Emmy-nominated hosts set out to bring sweet to the sour world of reality competition shows:"I don't want to make anyone cry.", but they met many years earlier, in 1996 in Chicago, where they were both fixtures on the comedy scene. In July 2018, they debuted their newest collaboration,, NBC's reality competition about crafters competing for a $100,000 prize.
There are parts of the show that are just the two of you doing a "pun off" or other comedic bits. How did those come about?We pitch ideas and comedy bits, and all those scenes we write like we would write a sketch.
