Amherst Memorial Day parade will be rerouted after a vehicle vs. building accident.
AMHERST, Ohio - The Amherst Police Department announced the city’s Memorial Day Parade will be rerouted due to a single-vehicle crash into a building housing Barra Restaurant on Park Avenue.
Police say impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash. No charges have been filed but the accident remains under investigation.said it would be closed until further notice. “We hope to see you soon, Barrachachos,” the post said.- Start at High School on Washing St. southbound to Forest Street.- Left turn eastbound on Tenney Avenue
