Authorities have arrested the Wayne County AMBER Alert in Akron, and the boy was found safe.
MARSHALLVILLE, Ohio - Authorities have arrested the Wayne County AMBER Alert suspect in Akron, and the abducted 2-year-old boy was found safe.
According to Marshal Alex Rutter from the U.S. Marshals Office, suspect Larry Spence, 51, was arrested at the intersection of East Street and Florida Avenue just after 3:30 p.m. The vehicle was parked when police arrived on scene, so Spence was arrested with no incidents, according to Marshal Rutter.Investigators found the child safe and unharmed around 3:30 p.m. less than one hour after the alert was issued.
According to the Ohio Attorney General’s office, Spence stole a 2017 black Dodge Ram 1500 from a Dollar General at 2:11 p.m.The incident occurred at 62 South Main Street in the city of Marshallville in Wayne County.Unidentified: Who was this young man found dead on train tracks just months ago?
