An Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old boy from San Marcos who police say was abducted from a park Saturday.

According to a DPS Amber Alert, Legend Torres was last seen in the 200 block of CM Allen Parkway in San Marcos at 1 p.m. Saturday.He was last seen wearing a black shirt with the words “Legend since April 2021″ on it. He was also last seen wearing black shorts, black ankle socks and blue and white Jordan hightops.San Marcos Police identified the suspect in the case as 46-year-old Joey Torres. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.
DPS also updated the Amber Alert to include what they believe the suspect vehicle is, a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander with license plate number TKK8328.Christian Terry Christian Terry covered digital news in Tyler and Wichita Falls before returning to the Houston area where he grew up.
