Amazon will pay a one-time bonus of $500 to front-line workers—part-time workers will get $250
Full-time Amazon employees, workers at Whole Foods and drivers in Amazon’s contracted delivery program will get a $500 one-time payment, while those in part-time roles will receive $250, the company said, as it committed to spend more than $500 million on bonuses following strong demand from customers shopping from home during the pandemic and increased pressure on workers handling those orders....
Between mid-March and May, the company had paid its frontline workers an additional $2 an hour, along with double overtime pay, something an Amazon spokesperson
