Serrano was forced to pull out of a rematch against Taylor originally scheduled for May 20 due to injury. The two fought just over one year ago in the first-ever women’s headliner at Madison Square Garden and one of the biggest women’s boxing matches ever. Taylor defeated Serrano by split decision.
Hardy has won two straight fights, most recently a majority decision over Taynna Cardoso in February. She was undefeated until the loss to Serrano in 2019.
