The Britain's Got Talent judge has broken her leg in two places October 22, 2019 - 08:39 BST Gemma Strong Amanda Holden has suffered a serious accident while on holiday with her family. The Britain's Got Talent judge was playing on an inflatable assault course when the incident occurred. She was rushed to hospital where it was revealed she has broken her leg in two places. The 48-year-old had to undergo emergency surgery and have a metal plate fitted after snapping her fibula.
"It opens you up as a person, because you're more vulnerable. As much as I like to think that I was empathetic to the world's problems before I had children, more than ever now I'm aware that this is the world my children live in. These days I never think 'Oh, that's happening in another country, it's nothing to do with us': I have more understanding and empathy because I'm a mother.
