As we welcome March, the position of the jet stream will keep temperatures below normal for much of the next seven days, with the storm track sticking near Nova Scotia.
A series of low-pressure systems will be steered towards Atlantic Canada this week.February went by like a flash, at least here in the weather centre.
The first system is a storm moving south of Cape Cod this morning, but a trough extends back to a separate system near Hudson Bay. This connection will bring periods of snow to central and western Nova Scotia along with New Brunswick tonight into Wednesday with two to 10 cm forecast, but local amounts could be higher.
