’s national class of 2024 rankings, was a two-year starter for the five-time state champions and holds scholarship offers from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Michigan and others. He’s scheduled to announce his commitment on Jan. 31. His sophomore brother Maliek, who started at safety for Allen and holds a scholarship offer from Arkansas, has also enrolled at Emerson.Mike Hawkins Sr.
Hawkins will join a Frisco Emerson team which went 9-2 in its first season as a varsity program in 2022. Emerson is coached by Kendall Miller, the president-elect of the Texas High School Coaches Association. Hawkins previously played for Lee Wiginton at Allen, the current president of THSCA.
