The 2019-20 college basketball season gets underway on Tuesday when Kansas takes on Duke in the Championship Classic.
The Spartans went all the way to the Final Four last season before falling in the semifinal against eventual winners Virginia and begin the season as the No.1 ranked team in both the Associated Press and the USA Today coaches' poll.
Like the Spartans, Kentucky has retained a number of key players, which explains why it's ranked No. 2 in both preseason polls, while Kansas will be rearing to go after welcoming Udoka Azubuike back from the injury that curtailed his season a year ago. As is tradition, early season tournaments are the main point of focus across November and December, as the season gets into its groove.
