Norman Lear (TheNormanLear) and Jimmy Kimmel (jimmykimmel) have set their sequel to May's 'All in the Family'/'The Jeffersons' live
— aired for six seasons from 1974-1979 on CBS. Produced by Lear, it was TV's first family sitcom that featured two African-American parents. Esther Rolle, John Amos, Jimmie Walker and Janet Jackson starred.

Beyond the holiday episode, another special will air next spring.
