The supermarket chain's new collection of plush toys officially went live this morning
Eager shoppers have caused Aldi's website to crash after thousands flocked to get their hands on the newly launched Kevin the Carrot plush toys for 2022.
Aldi's new Kevin plush toy collection comes after the popular mascot made his return for a seventh year in the supermarket chain's Christmas advert, which paid homage to Home Alone. Aldi's virtual queue read: "We’re very sorry, but there are currently lots of people trying to access the Aldi website. We’ve automatically placed you in a queue. Don’t worry about refreshing - this page will update automatically as soon as you can enter the site.”
Another wrote: "Its Aldi kevin the carrot release date. Is anyone else sad enough to be in the queue.... or is that just me?"
