Aldi shoppers 'won't get a takeaway again' since trying 'divine' £6.49 air fryer meal
Shoppers are flocking to Aldi to get their hands on a £6.49 meal they're saying tastes as good as, if not better than a Chinese takeaway. The meal is for two - working out at £3.25 a head.
The budget Chinese meal has gone viral on social media. Some people like it so much, they've ditched their usual Chinese takeaway for the budget friendly meal.The same dish can cost upwards of £15 at a Chinese takeaway. That makes for a solid saving of £9 - should you wish to opt for Aldi's food instead of a more authentic experience, of course.
"Did it in the air fryer and the skin was so crispy and yum. Won't bother getting [it] from takeaway again, tasty, cheap and you know exactly how many calories you're eating."
