Alberta to provide $92 million to help expand youth mental health treatment ableg abpoli

The mental health classrooms have already been established at two schools in Sturgeon County.

The adolescent day treatment program will also be expanded. The program helps youth in Grades 8 to 12 with a mental illness diagnosis who are struggling in a conventional classroom so they can complete their schooling at a CASA facility while also receiving therapy support.Article content CASA Mental Health CEO Bonnie Blakley said she is a parent of children who have been diagnosed with a mental illness.
