Governor Dunleavy spoke for Alaska republicans – casting 29 delegates votes for the former president.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Less than 48 hours after the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump , the former president officially became the republican presidential nominee on Monday.

This decision came after receiving enough delegate votes at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Governor Dunleavy spoke on behalf of Alaska republicans – casting 29 delegates votes for the former president. “The great state of Alaska pledges all of its 29 delegate votes to Donald J Trump. Alaska is the largest state in the nation, two and a half times larger than our fellow state, Texas. The furthest northern state, western state, eastern state, the largest bears in the country, the largest moose, biggest military, most retired veterans per capita. Once again we pledge all of our votes, 29 delegates to Donald Trump, the next president of the United States of America,” stated Governor Dunleavy.
