Officials at the Alaska Permanent Fund Corp. and members of its governing board may be required to testify under oath as the Legislature investigates the firing of executive director Angela Rodell.
Senate President Peter Micciche, R-Soldotna, considers a discussion on issuing subpoenas to members of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation's board of trustees and staff on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Alaska State Capitol in Juneau.
The Legislature has used subpoena powers only a handful of times since the 1980s, and Tuesday’s vote was an extraordinary action.
