A Wallace State Community College instructor is on leave after the employee allegedly made homophobic and racist remarks on social media.

“The devil is attacking our beautiful town of Cullman now apparently… and the police chief is in on it? I heard he was a crazy-ass liberal but this???” Courington reportedly wrote in a Facebook post. “We need a rally by the you-know-what to put an end to this foolishness. Of course, it may be as well-attended as the Juneteenth event the white liberal weirdos tried to do a few years ago in Hanceville.”
In another screenshot, she takes aim at “Communists” who want to “demonize nationalism, and pride in being white, and standing up against sexual deviancy.”In the statement released Wednesday afternoon, Wallace State President Vicki Karolewics said the college condemned “racism and bigotry in all its forms” and said the statements were “offensive to everyone who values human life, equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility.
