In the wake of a shooting that left a 23-year-old dead, many couldn't believe the team's pregame introductions Saturday.

One would have thought that Brandon Miller and the Alabama Crimson Tide basketball team would have known better.

Well, not one, but a whole lot of folks thought they would have known better, but here we are and they are trending, again, for all the wrong reasons. After spending the past week or so explaining star player Brandon Miller’s involvement — or lack of involvement — in the shooting death of 23-year-old Jamea Jonae Harris, which currently has former Crimson Tide player Darius Miles behind bars and awaiting trial, Bama’ sent Miller back out on the court Sunday.

And as he was announced for the team’s game against South Carolina a teammate did a pat down of Miller. You know, like the police do when you are entering a club and they want to make sure you don’t have any weapons?Miller reportedly returned the gun that police say was used in the shooting of Harris to Miles on the night of the incident. He has claimed that he was not aware of what Miles planned to do with the gun, and maintains his innocence.
